Hawk Construction (HC) is fabulous. I used HC as my general contractor on my remodel of my historic home (built in 1904). From the initial consolidation, I knew Jim was the one I would go with due to his knowledge, thoroughness, and his written estimates. I had the wall between my kitchen and formal dining room totally removed, kitchen fully remodeled, addition of new half bathroom downstairs, full remodel of upstairs bathroom (additional square footage), and new flooring downstairs. My goal was an open concept kitchen with lots of light while keeping the historic charm of the house. This goal was totally respected and accomplished by HC. They did a phenomenal job and after a year and a half after the remodel (yes, I am a slow reviewer) I am still very pleased with the quality and workmanship of the job done. Any future remodels I will be going the HC.

We hired Hawk Construction Inc. after comparing 2 bids. Monetarily the bids were $100 apart which surprised us because we thought Hawk having a solid crew vs. a one-man show would be higher. We chose Hawk because of their professionalism in representing themselves...the plans they provided were detailed and all expenses were listed to the penny. In the end we wanted a contractor who would stand by their product and be there a year down the road if anything were to come up that needed attention. They cleaned up every day, were respectful and hard working. The 2 projects went very smoothly and quickly.

This was the best experience with a home remodel I have EVER had and I have had experience with several. All the phases of the project were smoothly integrated and there was continuous progress during the entire course of the project. Over 9 weeks, there were only 3-4 days when (during the work week) when work was not being completed. The quality of the work conducted by Hawk employees and their contractors was of the highest quality. They were extremely professional, courteous and sensitive to our wishes. We also received excellent planning and design assistance from Jim and Carolyn.

A major hail storm hammered our house and resulted in us having a multifaceted repair project. Thankfully, we had prior experience working with Hawk Construction and knew that we would be in good hands. Every person we have encountered while working with Hawk has been the epitome of professionalism. Jim saw us through the process of determining the scope of the project and working through documenting the job ahead for the insurance company's review. Valdek was then our outstanding project manager, who stayed on top of every detail of coordinating the various aspects of the work to be done. We were always kept abreast of when things would be done and Valdek also was excellent on following up on any stray details. This is a company that you can rely on to do the job right from start to finish.
