Jim Poggemeyer

Jim has over 35 years of experience in all aspects of the construction industry with a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management. As Owner of Hawk Construction he oversees all of the estimating activity and provides oversight of projects throughout design and construction. Jim works closely with both the design and construction teams to ensure smooth transitions throughout the project. Along with his wife, Susie, co-owner of Hawk Construction and Kitchens Inspired, they provide a complete design/build product for their customers. In his spare time he enjoys fly-fishing, biking and spending time with his wife and their 3 adult children.

Karen Dickens - Bookkeeping

Karen joined Hawk in 2019 after selling the moving business owned by her and her husband.  She was new to the construction industry but brought broad business experience to her position.  She was quite familiar with Hawk even before seeking employment with us.  She hired Hawk over 20 years ago to remodel two bathrooms and do drywall repairs/painting in other areas.  She thinks the best thing about her job is her co-workers!  Everyone is friendly, hard-working and helpful!

When not at work, Karen enjoys golfing and walking.  She also enjoys spending time with her husband and kitties.
